Sydney has had a cold and is mostly over it. At present she just has a lingering cough which isn't much fun because she wakes herself up with it. Previously though it sounded really bad. I was starting to think our precious baby was a budding sith lord. (think Darth Vadar)
Yesterday morning Sydney pulled the baby fountain on Meghan. That's where she ejects an entire feeding in like 2-3 seconds with a powerful gush. Sounds like she pulled that one as Meghan was carrying her toward the kitchen getting ready to leave for daycare. I've previously experienced two of these myself. It kind of defies logic how a baby can throw up everything and then grin at you. Fortunately yesterday, Sydney only hosed herself down, not Meghan.
On Sunday we attempted to give Sydney a little bit of rice cereal. We video taped it, but it wasn't too exciting. Meghan got maybe 4 or 5 tiny spoon fulls in Sydney's mouth and most of it came dribbling down her chin. She really didn't seem the least bit interested. Perhaps next time we'll try some Thai curry.
Sydney went do the doctor last week (I think it was last week) and weighed in at a 12lbs... something. Can't recall the ounces. She's chunking up.
