Houston, we have a tooth!

Sydney got to spend most of the day today playing with Grandma while Mike and I went to a Beerfest at a local bar. She was in a pretty good mood when we got home, but quickly melted down after Grandma left. I felt in her mouth and sure enough, I found a tooth! We gave her Orajel and Tylenol and she promptly passed out.

Upon closer inspection, I have discovered that Syd is actually cutting 4 teeth right now. Only one has broken through, but I can clearly see spots where the other three are coming. They are all on the bottom. She was generally whiny for most of the day today, but all in all, I think she has had a pretty easy time with this teething thing so far.

Yep! I kind of figured teeth would be the culprit. Could be why she loved that ice cream bar so much (although who doesn't like ice cream?).
Love,
Mom

On October 4th, we reported that Sydney had one of her lower molars. I'm adding it to the official "tooth thread". It's the bottom one on her right side. At that point she also had her 4 bottom front teeth and NO top teeth.
Up until this point, that has made Sydney's teeth 100% useless because all of them are bottom teeth. That is kind of limiting to her diet. It's also kind of funny when she opens her mouth because there is a very notable gap on her right side between her molar and front teeth.
Today after some hard crying, Meghan noticed that Sydney now has a top molar coming in. It's on her left side and has 2 tiny spikes poking through. Her two top middle front teeth are also just starting to poke through. It's anyone's guess which tooth came first or which one will be in first because Sydney doesn't like it when you try to check or look in her mouth. So regardless of order, these will be teeth 6, 7, and 8.
