Another two weeks have passed and in holding with tradition, we've uploaded the latest installment of Sydney pictures. Many of these were taken this past 4th of July weekend.
Here's your link to the new album:

Of the 90 pictures posted, here are the 13 I liked the most. Hopefully these entice you to check out the full album.
The toy piano has become one of Sydney's favorite toys. Although she can't stand up by herself, she can stand and hold on to it if you help her up (and hover spotting her just in case she forgets she can't walk and lets go). In addition to playing with the buttons, she often plays with the swinging toys below that cause the piano to play several different songs.
We tried to get Sydney to pull herself up on the wagon/cart toy but she got distracted by the wires with the wood beads. She seems to be enjoying herself though.
Just as soon as Sydney starts understanding words, we're going to have to have a nice long talk about sharing. In these two pictures you can see Sydney and Claudia Eakin wrestling for control of an empty plastic water bottle. I'm pretty sure Claudia started out playing with it and Sydney decided she wanted it although both played with it on and off throughout the afternoon. Anyway, Sydney attempted to take it away from Claudia who cleverly held it just beyond Sydney's reach before tossing out far enough away that neither of them could reach it. At that point, Sydney lost interest completely and started doing something else. All onlookers just had to laugh.
Here are a couple pictures of Sydney sitting in her white rocking chair. We took it outside during the cookout so both girls would have a chair.
Random goofy/cute picture.
Sydney playing with a stuffed dolphin that was a gift from her Great Grandma Mulhern
Sydney reading the instructions for building her new lawn chair and then admiring it post construction. Think of this like a do it yourself tv program where they build something. Imagine Sydney with a screwdriver assembling pieces between these two pictures and you've got it. ...with a little help from Meghan.
Sydney enjoying a graham cracker. That's one of the few hard/solid things she likes.
Sydney playing in the laundry basket.

Father's day weekend was really a defining point in Sydney's development. ...She's rapidly turning into a little person. ...a little person that goes "wuh bah wuh wuh wuh bah wuh ruh".
