Today Sydney peed on the potty.... literally, not figuratively.
While changing Sydney's diaper, Meghan decided to put her on the her potty. Sydney sat quietly on the potty with her pants around her feet for a little while and then simultaneously started peeing and crying. Then she stood up and peed all over her pants, the front of the potty, and the floor.
Sydney has never seen herself pee before or probably noticed anything coming out of her. Our guess is that it scared/upset her. The crying continued until after Meghan had her re-diapered and dressed.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that Sydney has been sitting on the potty (clothed) on her own accord any time she wonders into the bathroom.
